Get Fired Up
We love to ignite the passion and drive hidden within an organization through its people
Check the fit: who we can help and how to get started
If you are a supervisor, manager with a group or leader within a multi-disciplinary team and answer yes to any of the following conditions, we should talk more about how to help your organization achieve greater success. Are your people experiencing:
- Sluggish or lagging performance
- Inability to make decisions or generate consensus
- Poor or lack of communication
- Lack of clarity around organizational goals
- Behavior that creates dysfunction
- Lack of identity or purpose (unclear on strategic direction)
- Inability to resolve conflicts
- Low engagement, participation or self-driven collaboration
- Ineffective internal leadership
The Emotional Intelligence Factor
We leverage and emphasize emotional intelligence so we can help people get better at communicating with each other and learn invaluable and often lacking people skills. We can help your people answer questions such as:
- Why do we exist?
- What is our process?
- How do we interact?
- What are the guidelines or charter of our organization?
- How do we make decisions?
- How do we get things done?
- What tools should we use?
We specialize in working inside an organization with any group(s) of people or individuals who need greater support, training and guidance to be more effective performers. We turn around people who are actively disengaged and spreading discontent and provide them the tools, insights and guidance to accelerate performance and drive results.
Results-Based Focus
How to get started so you can start seeing results sooner rather than when it's too late
How to get started with Carole Gill
It's very simple to get started with Carole Gill. If you resonate with our approach and the results we promise, we'd like to take the first step and have a conversation with you. Let's talk about what you're trying to accomplish and the problems you're facing. Tell us about your organization, your timeline and whatever else will help us get a good idea of your situation and goals.
You can set that up by calling 813-802-8376 or completing our contact form here.
In the interim, please consider these products, laid out in a common, best-practice flow of typical Carole Gill client engagements.
Phase One: Assessments and Surveys
Time Frame: 1/2 day workshop to explain strategy for improvement and complete assessments.
Assessments allow us to plot the course for improvement. What are people feeling? What are their attitudes and challenges? We can quickly assess using proven tools (see "Tools We Use" in the navigation) to deliver a measurement benchmark that the entire team shares and uses moving forward.
Phase Two: Review Results
Time Frame: 1/2 day workshop to review results of assessments.
After the assessment and/or survey results are compiled, we sit down with the group leader or sponsor and review the results. We explain what we feel—based on your goals, culture, and what we have come to understand about your organization—this is what it's going to take to get you from point A to point B.
Phase Three: Follow-up Sessions
Time Frame: 1/2 day follow up sessions every other week for 10 weeks.
These follow up sessions with you and your people are the most powerful phase of our engagements. This is where we have a face to face facilitated dialog around the results and help change behavior so people are able to be more effective. Additionally, it could also include creating new processes and comparison reports among your people and having them work together in actual business situations. These follow up sessions are not a form of training—and this is what sets Carole Gill apart from others—we facilitate an honest conversation that forwards growth and improvement based on what your people are experiencing on a day to day basis.
Your people create their own code of conduct and operating guidelines through the 10-week sessions. This enables them to have preset agreements on how to handle all kinds of scenarios. We also may recommend one on one coaching to help improve performance in special situations.
Phase Four: Reassessment
Time Frame: 1/2 day workshop.
After spending time with you and your people facilitating improvement and new behaviors via the follow-up sessions, it's time to retake the assessment. The goal is to look at where change has occurred, what is being done to maintain the performance improvement and new behaviors, and anything else that reflects how people are doing.
Phase Five: Accountability Meeting
Time Frame: 1/2 day workshop.
Approximately three months after the assessment, we'll meet with your people and have an accountability meeting. If your organization is in support of what your people are trying to implement, and if the culture supports the work they are doing, they are likely to sustain the positive momentum. However, if your people are not doing the things they agreed to do, we have a conversation around why and how to get back on track. In many cases, communication is typically the culprit in a person's inability to sustain positive momentum in their improvement efforts. They typically maintain processes because they are black and white and tangible.
Ongoing Support
Time Frame: 1/2 day workshop or virtual check-ins depending on the team's progress.
At this point in an engagement, we typically create a plan for ongoing support that fits the client's requirements and how well (or not so well) your people are implementing their new strategies. We can do this virtually or in-person, and these are typically once a month for a period of anywhere from 3 to 6 months after the accountability meeting.
We also offer coaching blocks to use however our clients wish to, whether they be group coaching or individual one on one coaching done by phone.
